The Analyst was formed to bring together established practitioners with emerging scholars, as a clearing house for opinions and ideas addressing a broad range of issues, with a particular focus on political economics, finance & the economy, emerging technology, policy analysis, and arts & entertainment . It covers a number of issues contemporary and historic and seeks to be informative, engaging, entertaining and balanced. The contributions come from academics, media commentators, research students and just about every segment of society. It seeks to bring the best of both worlds, as a rigorous, through and research driven series, while being accessible to all. Our style is concise and practically orientated. While many of the contributions come from academics and theorists, 'The Analyst' is not an academic journal. The Analyst seeks to offer unique perspectives on issues of salience to society, and afford people from all segments of society the opportunity to engage in rigorous and critical debate in relation to matters of importance.
